Lead User Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive research initiatives — design, execute, and synthesize studies that guide product and design strategies.

• Manage research within our software platforms — plan and conduct research across early access, beta, and design partner programs, transforming participant feedback into clear, actionable insights.

• Collaborate closely with Design and Product teams — engage alongside Designers and Product Managers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery to post-launch evaluation.

• Leverage AI to enhance analysis — Utilize AI as a powerful tool to refine analysis. Employ rigorous research methodologies as a base, and incorporate AI tools to expedite analysis and synthesis, fostering fluency in team operations.

• Report findings to stakeholders — effectively communicate insights to stakeholders across the organization, aiding in decision-making with evidence-based information.

• Contribute to research strategy development — play a role in shaping how the team prioritizes and approaches research, extending beyond individual studies.

• Maintain research foundations — ensure that research operations, documentation, and historical findings are organized and accessible for others to utilize.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in user experience research, supported by a robust portfolio of work.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools to enhance and expedite research efforts.

• Proven history of close collaboration with Designers and Product Managers throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Experience conducting research within software initiatives such as early access, beta, or design partner programs.

• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to dissect complex, ambiguous challenges.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting findings and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
