• Establish and take charge of the enterprise architecture strategy for digital commerce, customer platforms, and data ecosystems.
• Create a target-state architecture along with a multi-year technology roadmap that aligns with the company's revenue growth goals.
• Ensure that the technology landscape is capable of supporting scalability, resilience, and performance amidst significantly increased traffic and transaction volumes.
• Set architectural principles across cloud infrastructure, integration, data platforms, security, and composable commerce.
• Oversee architecture throughout the entire customer and commerce ecosystem.
• Ensure that the architecture facilitates: Omnichannel retail experiences, Marketplace and partner integrations, Rapid experimentation and feature delivery, Personalized customer journeys across channels.
• Define the data architecture that supports digital, commercial, and operational decision-making.
• Enable a modern data platform that supports: Real-time and batch data processing, Customer data platforms, Advanced analytics and experimentation, AI-driven personalization and merchandising.
• Outline the architecture that underpins customer relationship management and loyalty programs.
• Drive architecture that promotes operational excellence across digital and retail operations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership regarding technology strategy.
• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect or Principal Architect in a significant retail, digital, or e-commerce setting.
• Demonstrated experience in designing enterprise technology architectures that support high-volume digital commerce platforms.
• Strong grasp of modern architecture patterns, including Cloud-native architectures, API-first and microservices, Event-driven architectures, and Composable commerce ecosystems.
• Experience in designing architectures for: E-commerce platforms, Data and analytics platforms, CRM and marketing technologies, Loyalty and customer engagement platforms.
• In-depth understanding of customer data, personalization, and marketing technologies.
• Experience with the integration of digital platforms with ERP, OMS, PIM, and supply chain systems.
• Preferred experience in leading significant retail digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with modern data platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and AI-driven analytics.
