Lead Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert technical knowledge and analysis regarding highly specialized applications and operational environments, including high-level functional systems analysis and data flows, design, integration, documentation, and implementation guidance on moderately complex issues that necessitate a suitable level of subject matter expertise for successful execution.

• Utilize principles, methods, and knowledge in the relevant functional area to address specific task order requirements, applying advanced mathematical principles and techniques to particularly challenging and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific domains to achieve automated solutions.

• Collaborate with senior consultants in analyzing and evaluating systems, as well as preparing recommendations for enhancements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance initiatives across various specialties: information systems architecture, cloud strategy and modernization planning, networking, telecommunications, automation, communication protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation.

• Assess current and future-state environments and provide guidance to leadership on modernization prospects and technical risks.

• Facilitate business capability mapping and ensure alignment of technology investments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or a related business field.

• Over 5 years of experience in systems analysis, integration, data architecture, governance, or IT strategy involving Federal Government systems.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and modernization projects.

• Proficient in creating diagrams, roadmaps, inventories, and technical documentation.

• Capable of communicating effectively with both executives and technical teams.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Recently completed a federal government investigation (< 2 years) at a public trust or higher level.
