Lead System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and implement technical solutions utilized in product development and product line management processes.

• Create and maintain Product Lifecycle Technology (PLT) Solutions on the PLT Platform.

• Act as a FlexPLM development authority in collaboration with IT teams and internal departments.

• Assist the PLT team in their daily tasks by providing guidance, support, and troubleshooting assistance.

• Work together with the PLT Product Team to gather requirements and facilitate design discussions.

• Partner with PLT Support to address User Support inquiries.

• Conduct code reviews and comply with PLT coding standards.

• Primarily operate within Agile methodology while also supporting projects executed through Waterfall methodology.

• Engage with internal teams and business partners, promoting collaboration in a team-oriented environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field of study.

• 7 years of progressively responsible experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing FlexPLM.

• Proven experience with product development processes, including line sheet management, bill of materials management, materials management, and sample management.

• Proficient in developing applications using Java, JavaScript, and JSP.

• Experience in building REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Eclipse and IntelliJ IDE for development purposes.

• Competent in using version control systems (such as SVN or GitHub).

• Capable of translating customer/user experiences from functional requirements into technical specifications.

• Skilled in constructing SQL queries for a FlexPLM Database.
