Design Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design evaluation tasks for AI systems functioning in rapid prototyping, product design, and human-AI collaborative coding environments.

• Create scenarios that encompass rapid prototyping and iteration cycles, development of design systems, and collaboration between product design and engineering teams.

• Develop tasks related to AI-assisted application development, workflows converting natural language to code, and rapid prototyping.

• Generate tasks pertaining to UX/UI design, design systems and component libraries, user research, and usability testing.

• Formulate scenarios that involve AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, v0, and Replit.

• Create scenarios utilizing Figma, Framer, prototyping tools, and design systems tools.

• Implement iterative prompt-driven development, principles of human-centered design, and heuristic evaluation methods.

• Produce reference prototypes, code artifacts, design specifications, and usability evaluation reports.

• Develop rubrics that differentiate authentic senior-level product judgment from generic tutorial-level or template-based work.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a product designer, design lead, or AI-native engineer/vibecoder.

• Background at a prominent product- or design-centric company, notable independent product builder, or startup product builder.

• Proven ownership of product design systems or AI-assisted development workflows that have been shipped to production.

• Proficiency in vibecoding or design tools.

• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and rapid prototyping methodologies.

• A portfolio showcasing shipped work is strongly preferred over formal credentials.

• Previous experience in rubric creation, training, or design critique is advantageous.

• Currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
