Lead Specialist, Technology Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Lead the exploration and definition of essential products that support the foundational data platforms of Global Data.

• Establish and prioritize the scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and milestones for data product initiatives.

• Manage the communication of business goals and coordinate the delivery among data teams, OCTO teams, business stakeholders, and executives.

• Create narratives for data products to gain support from stakeholders and executives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify problems, convey value, and set success metrics.

• Work alongside engineering teams to clarify expectations, assist in execution, and ensure measurable business outcomes.

• Assess and communicate the business impact of domain and larger data initiatives.

• Promote data quality, governance, and sustainability standards throughout Global Data.

• Maintain transparency regarding data product roadmaps, progress, and prioritization.

• Identify process inefficiencies and drive ongoing improvements in data management, data products, governance, and analytics.

• Monitor and report on KPIs, including metrics for data quality and integrity.

• Contribute to organizational planning by providing insights on timelines, resource allocation, and cross-team dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

• MBA, PMP, CBAP, or data certification is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in data products, technology, or product-focused organizations.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

• Knowledge of data processing, ELT and ETL pipelines, and data migration methodologies.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Strong relationship-building skills with the capacity to influence without direct authority.

• Proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to independently recognize opportunities instead of waiting for requirements.
