Lead Specialist, Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of intricate strategic workstreams and manage mid-sized projects from start to finish.

• Analyze problems, establish fact bases, and distill findings into actionable recommendations.

• Perform market research, competitive evaluations, and market sizing tasks.

• Develop financial models and business cases that assess strategic options, underlying assumptions, risks, and KPIs.

• Create executive-ready presentations, memos, and briefing documents.

• Collaborate with product, commercial, finance, and corporate development teams on cross-functional projects.

• Monitor KPIs and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives.

• Contribute to the Group Strategy planning processes.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues on analytical techniques, frameworks, and best practices in communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Around 2–5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or a related area within a multinational or complex organization.

• Demonstrated capability to independently conduct complex analyses and provide structured, insight-driven recommendations for strategic projects.

• Strong skills in financial modeling and business case development.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguous problem spaces and working with incomplete information.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.

• Proficient in creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, and documents.

• Ability to handle multiple workstreams concurrently while under time constraints.

• Strong structured problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt analytical frameworks.

• Skill in building effective working relationships across functions and levels, with the ability to work independently.

• Commercial awareness and the ability to translate business drivers into strategic implications.

• A proactive learning attitude and genuine interest in education, technology, or related fields.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled edtech, skills ecosystems, or credential platforms is a plus.

• An MBA or postgraduate qualification is appreciated but not mandatory.
