This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Spearhead the development of Pearson’s flagship assessments and tools aimed at supporting and engaging students, families, and educators.
• Collaborate with leaders from the Product Management team and other departments to strategize and implement product initiatives alongside technology teams.
• Ensure that the objectives of the products are clearly understood and effectively executed.
• Provide clarity amidst ambiguity by defining requirements, setting priorities, and making tradeoffs.
• Proactively identify potential risks and eliminate obstacles before they disrupt delivery.
• Become the primary expert in your product domain, gaining a deep understanding of workflows, users, and data.
• Track product performance (usage, adoption, impact) and strive for continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, product development, or related fields.
• More than 3 years of experience in developing K-12 assessment, edtech, or instructional products.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex products.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and decision-making.
• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Familiarity with the K-12 assessment landscape and competitive products (preferred).
• Understanding of district decision-making, procurement, and accountability needs (preferred).
• Experience with data-rich platforms and educator workflows (preferred).
• Background in Agile product development and contemporary product practices (preferred).
