This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee comprehensive payroll processing throughout the APAC regions, guaranteeing accuracy and punctuality in all elements including base salary, stock options, taxes, and statutory benefits.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, which includes reviewing and approving journal entries.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Employee Services teams to provide a seamless payroll experience.
• Initiate process enhancements and efficiencies to improve payroll accuracy and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to local statutory requirements and assist with payroll-related regulatory submissions.
• 8–9 years of experience in payroll.
• Significant exposure to APAC payroll operations.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll practices across APAC countries, including China, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
• Practical experience in managing comprehensive global payroll processes.
• Familiarity with payroll systems, preferably ADP tools (Celergo, GlobalView, etc.).
• Solid understanding of payroll accounting, compliance, and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to work across time zones and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Assist with payroll setup and implementation for new countries/entities and ongoing system integrations (e.g., Celergo).
