This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead solutions engineering teams across various regions.
• Align Cisco architectures with client requirements to enhance customer outcomes.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Comprehend customer business objectives and identify opportunities for cross-architecture solutions.
• Generate demand based on customer roadmaps, emerging technologies, and industry challenges.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable sales initiatives and ensure their execution.
• Drive market growth and revenue prospects in line with Cisco’s corporate vision.
• Promote collaboration among Engineering, CX, partners, marketing, and other business divisions.
• Oversee technical sales management activities for a designated region or area.
• Assist internal sales teams through consulting, problem-solving, discovery, consultation, and presentations.
• Manage high-stakes technical client interactions involving intricate, large-scale solutions.
• Design demand-generating events that highlight Cisco technology experiences.
• Create tools and roadmaps that enhance customer engagement.
• Mentor teams towards sustainable quota achievement and foster leadership capabilities.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration to shape account strategies.
• 10 years of experience in Software Solutions Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Must be a citizen of the United States.
• Ability to develop and implement initiatives that support pipeline growth and adoption.
• Experience collaborating with state and local governments and educational institutions.
• Technical expertise and understanding of cybersecurity and observability.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the Western United States.
