Lead Solutions Engineer, Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and implement integration projects from the initial customer discovery stage to go-live, developing detailed project plans that include milestones, risk management, and success criteria while coordinating with both internal and customer-facing stakeholders throughout each phase.

• Lead technical discovery and design sessions with customers, conducting multi-day on-site engagements where you independently scope 10–15 data interfaces, negotiate delivery timelines and formats, and finalize documented data integration specifications that facilitate ML model training and deployment.

• Utilize a deep understanding of Afresh's core data model and integration patterns to assess whether customer requirements can be fulfilled using standard methods; highlight any misalignments and suggest modifications to the design or the customer’s strategy.

• Examine complex data relationships, identify root causes of discrepancies or anomalies, and develop custom queries or lightweight tools to enhance validation and data mapping processes.

• Collaborate with data engineering, product engineering, and data science teams to ensure successful integration delivery; proactively identify technical risks and ambiguities and work cross-functionally to address them.

• Shape internal discussions by providing insightful input and context derived from customer needs; disseminate knowledge across Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

• Contribute to team documentation, templates, and onboarding materials; mentor junior team members and take initiative in process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to independently manage and execute complex integration projects from start to finish, including defining scope, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery.

• Experience leading technical discovery and solution design with customer IT stakeholders, including preparing design documentation and guiding customers through technical trade-offs.

• Expertise in data transformation and design, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to meet customer integration requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and the capability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools.

• Willingness to travel (up to 10%).
