This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discussions on solution architecture and develop strategies to incorporate Black Duck products into customer DevSecOps workflows.

• Assess customer environments and requirements to design and recommend the services needed to optimally utilize Black Duck products for their specific needs.

• Recognize the necessity for strategy consulting to enhance the customer’s AppSec program and compliance initiatives, and collaborate with strategy consulting to define the needed services.

• Work together with services teams, sales leads, and product teams to define, document, and deliver customer solutions as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with the implementation team to ensure that the proposed solution is executed as intended, making adaptations as required.

• Identify, document, and share best practices, integrating them into proposed solutions.

• Create and present engaging technical presentations and documentation tailored to diverse technical and business stakeholders.

• Provide expert technical consultation on static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), and dynamic application security testing (DAST) solutions.

• Stay updated on new software development technologies and techniques to enhance understanding of how Black Duck products and services can be effectively utilized.

• Collaborate with product teams and other functional groups by supplying customer feedback and suggestions for improving Black Duck products and services.

• Serve as a mentor to colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in consulting, solution architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

• A technical background in software development or scripting is essential.

• In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is crucial.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

• For example, 5+ years of experience as a software developer.

• Strong understanding of software container concepts, including images, containers, registries, and container lifecycles.

• Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker or equivalent container runtimes.

• Experience in scoping custom solutions and scripting, recognizing edge cases and obstacles early to ensure the solution is feasible.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required by the position.
