This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Provide architectural leadership for CenterWell Home Health programs and platforms.
• Develop conceptual and reference architectures while overseeing solution designs.
• Align delivery teams with cloud and data strategies.
• Lead architecture for CenterWell’s pharmacy portfolio, including mail order, specialty, retail, and related platforms.
• Own the architectural vision for complex, multi-system initiatives.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with existing architects and stakeholders.
• Review initiatives and create architectural roadmaps.
• Develop and enhance reference architectures and design patterns.
• Validate designs against enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
• Define integration strategies and solution blueprints for systems and data flows.
• Establish architecture review processes and decision-making forums.
• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Home Health initiatives.
• Author and maintain reference architectures for data platforms, clinical document NLP, RPA/automation, and interoperability.
• Lead architecture checkpoints and risk reviews, participating in ARB, TRB, and MOR governance forums.
• Transform conceptual designs into actionable architectural frameworks and define measurable non-functional requirements (NFRs).
• Define integration contracts and domain boundaries for provider data, EMR, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure data platforms.
• Ensure observability, data lineage, and data protection measures are in place.
• Collaborate with product teams, engineering, EA Activation, security, data, operations, CenterWell leaders, and segment CIO teams.
• Communicate architectural decisions to executives and delivery teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8 years of progressive experience in information technology, specifically in architecture/engineering, information security, or another specialized technology area.
• 5+ years of solution architecture experience within healthcare delivery or payer/provider ecosystems.
• Proven track record of delivering in regulated environments involving HIPAA/PHI.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services and Snowflake/Databricks architectures.
• Familiarity with data lake and data platform patterns, data sharing, identity and access management, and vault/secrets management.
• Demonstrated leadership in producing reference architectures and governing solution designs across multiple teams.
• Strong proficiency in APIs, event-driven integration, security models, and non-functional requirements.
• Practical experience in generative and agentic AI delivery on Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
• Experience with Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, and Amazon Bedrock.
• Familiarity with implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning, prompt/knowledge management, and secure data integrations.
• Capability to provide high-speed DSL or cable modem internet for a home office.
• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required.
• Satellite and wireless internet services are not permitted.
• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard PHI/HIPAA information.
• Preferred: experience with clinical document NLP pipelines and automation/RPA in Home Health workflows.
• Preferred: knowledge of Home Healthcare conceptual architecture, operating models, and artifacts.
• Preferred: experience with enterprise identity/access management flows and Azure group governance.
• Preferred: familiarity with portfolio governance and activation forum experience.
• Skills in agentic AI, including planning, tool/function calling, memory and context management, multi-agent collaboration, human-in-the-loop workflows, safety guardrails, telemetry, reliability patterns, and tool ecosystem integration.
