Lead Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across teams developing Python-based automation and full-stack applications (React, Spring Boot).

• Assess engineering methodologies, enforce industry best practices, and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

• Convert intricate client requirements into clear, actionable technical designs.

• Facilitate solutioning sessions and establish system architecture and automated processes in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Act as the primary technical liaison for stakeholders.

• Present solutions, assist in decision-making, and manage trade-offs to ensure alignment with mission and program objectives.

• Oversee execution across technical workstreams, managing priorities, risks, and escalations.

• Proactively identify and address technical challenges early to maintain delivery timelines and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or solution architecture.

• Robust technical expertise in Python-based scripting and/or full-stack development (React, Spring Boot, or similar).

• Demonstrated experience in leading system architecture and delivering scalable, cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure).

• Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams (backend, frontend, data).

• Strong client-facing abilities, including presenting technical solutions and facilitating decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of passing a background investigation by the client agency.

• DHS clearance with CBP/ICE, or DoD Top-Secret is preferred.
