Lead Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead for Federal Government and Public Sector accounts in collaboration with Enterprise Sales across the ANZ region, taking ownership of the technical strategy from discovery to closure.

• Facilitate in-depth discovery workshops with executive and senior government stakeholders to gain insights into organizational challenges, policy drivers, and technology landscapes.

• Convert complex government requirements — including compliance, security, accessibility, and interoperability needs — into customized IAM solution designs.

• Provide strategic technical insights that inform account planning and shape the overall customer strategy and execution approach.

• Create and present engaging product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, proof-of-concept engagements, and workshops tailored to public sector use cases.

• Answer RFPs, RFIs, and Tenders with clear, compliant, and persuasive technical narratives.

• Deliver recommendations confidently using value messaging frameworks, storytelling, customer evidence, and visually appealing materials.

• Work closely with Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Leadership to enhance impact across customer engagements.

• Advocate for Docusign as a reliable, secure, and effective partner for government agreement processes.

• Stay informed about public sector technology trends, government digital transformation initiatives, and relevant regulatory/compliance frameworks (e.g., PSPF, IRAP, ISM, NZ GCDO guidelines).

• Share insights, lessons learned, and reusable assets within the team and broader organization to foster scale and collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or solution consulting role selling SaaS solutions to enterprise accounts or the Public Sector.

• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and Senior Executive Service (SES) equivalents.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Must reside in Canberra to ensure frequent engagement with key federal government stakeholders and internal leadership.

• Willingness to travel (approximately 20% expected).
