This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Create robust, high-performance, and scalable applications by employing best practices and the latest technologies.
β’ Guide and collaborate with a talented team while influencing the future direction of products.
β’ Work alongside product and technical stakeholders to comprehend and clarify project requirements.
β’ Offer suggestions for proposed solutions.
β’ Evaluate and confirm solution designs proposed by other team members.
β’ Conduct design, debugging, and performance analysis on various solutions.
β’ Provide technical guidance to the team throughout the project lifecycle.
β’ Adhere to Agile best practices and actively engage in all scrum ceremonies.
β’ Address and resolve production issues as they arise.
β’ Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team and the codebase.
β’ At least 6+ years of full-stack development experience with enterprise web applications.
β’ Expertise in frontend development utilizing React/TypeScript.
β’ Proficient in backend development with Python.
β’ Familiarity with AWS infrastructure for web applications, including API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFront, and S3.
β’ Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, particularly MySQL.
β’ Experience in object-oriented design principles and developing backend applications using REST APIs.
β’ Proficient with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
β’ Experience with Git and continuous integration environments.
β’ Familiarity with code pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
β’ Knowledge of frontend and backend unit testing methodologies.
β’ Proficient in Agile software development lifecycle methodologies.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is mandatory.
β’ CFA designation with practical experience in financial equity research is a significant advantage.
β’ Strong analytical and communication abilities.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, including the ability to estimate project completion timelines.
β’ Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
β’ Capability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines effectively.
