Lead Software Developer, Financial Research – CFA Preferred

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Work alongside product and technical stakeholders to comprehend and clarify project requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6+ years of full-stack development experience with enterprise web applications.

• Expertise in frontend development utilizing React/TypeScript.

• Proficient in backend development with Python.

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure for web applications, including API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFront, and S3.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, particularly MySQL.

• Experience in object-oriented design principles and developing backend applications using REST APIs.

• Proficient with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Experience with Git and continuous integration environments.

• Familiarity with code pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Knowledge of frontend and backend unit testing methodologies.

• Proficient in Agile software development lifecycle methodologies.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is mandatory.

• CFA designation with practical experience in financial equity research is a significant advantage.

• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, including the ability to estimate project completion timelines.

• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Capability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines effectively.
