Lead Software Developer – C#/.Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership and daily technical guidance to a team of software developers and engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams both nationally and internationally to implement features and enhancements for the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform.

• Engage in hands-on coding, software design, and architecture throughout the entire .NET stack.

• Mentor and support developers and senior engineers in their professional growth.

• Ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable enterprise SaaS solutions.

• Contribute to the development of engineering processes, standards, CI/CD pipelines, and technical practices.

• Participate in architectural discussions and long-term technology and system design planning.

• Foster communication and collaboration among geographically distributed teams.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, conduct code reviews, and lead the resolution of challenging engineering problems.

• Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and high-performing engineering culture.

• Balance technical leadership with hands-on development while actively contributing to project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Lead Developer, Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or a similar senior engineering position within a SaaS, enterprise software, or similarly complex technology environment.

• Strong hands-on proficiency in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and SQL / T-SQL.

• Solid grasp of database design, performance optimization, and query tuning.

• Experience in delivering front-end functionality utilizing HTML, JavaScript, and Razor.

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, or comparable cloud and CI/CD technologies.

• Proficiency with Visual Studio and/or VS Code.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, security, and contemporary software development methodologies.

• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing other engineers.

• Proven ability to work effectively across distributed teams and multiple time zones.

• Capacity to make informed technical decisions while balancing engineering quality, delivery timelines, and business priorities.

• Experience in the automotive sector, enterprise SaaS, or other complex/high-availability software environments is highly desirable.

• Experience in establishing, growing, or scaling a new engineering team or technical function.

• Previous experience in a globally distributed engineering organization.

• Experience working on large-scale, business-critical SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with cloud-native development and modern software engineering practices.

• Experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
