This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Oversee, integrate, and execute software applications within the organization.
• Address software application issues that range in scope and complexity from moderate to significant.
• Manage software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support activities.
• Guarantee seamless, stable, and timely deployment of new software and updates.
• Create and uphold controls for test and production systems as well as software source code.
• Provide guidance to executives on functional strategies regarding key issues.
• Conduct high-severity incident management and service restoration conference calls.
• Facilitate communication with senior leadership during critical outages.
• Carry out root cause analysis across a wide array of software technologies.
• Assist with pharmacy releases and escalations.
• Make autonomous decisions on complex matters with minimal oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• 8 or more years of experience in information technology, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a project or technical lead role.
• Capability to lead high-severity incident management and service restoration calls.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Proficiency in providing clear status updates and guiding technical teams towards resolution.
• Competence in managing stakeholder expectations during critical outages.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis across various software technologies in a large, multi-system production setting.
• Familiarity with generative and agentic AI tools for authoring and analysis.
• Commitment to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.
• Availability for occasional and/or weekend escalations as required.
• Preferred: Master's Degree.
• Preferred: Domain knowledge and experience in the health care sector, particularly in pharmacy.
• Preferred: Proficiency in .NET, Java, Typescript, SQL Server, Oracle Database, Postgres, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Temporal, and similar technologies.
• Preferred: Experience in regulated enterprise environments.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile SDLC and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Preferred: Extensive experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Ability to work from a designated space without ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
