DevOps Engineer – Technical Integration Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the ICE EHR Program in modernizing clinical operations by implementing a secure, integrated, and interoperable enterprise EHR across IHSC facilities nationwide.

• Plan and execute research, conduct design assessments, and handle development, integration, as well as other DevOps and platform engineering tasks.

• Create, implement, and maintain automated build, test, deployment, and continuous delivery pipelines.

• Facilitate release management, environment management, infrastructure/configuration control, and ensure repeatable deployment processes across enterprise environments.

• Enhance deployment reliability, observability, automation, and operational consistency while adhering to secure engineering practices.

• Offer technical leadership in complex DevOps, integration, and engineering sectors.

• Coordinate efforts among systems engineering and delivery teams.

• Oversee or direct a diverse team of systems engineers, as assigned.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree along with 15 years of relevant experience.

• Education and experience may be interchanged, but cannot be counted twice.

• Each year of relevant experience can be substituted for one year of education, and vice versa, in accordance with applicable labor-category equivalency standards.

• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining enterprise DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, deployments, and release processes.

• Expertise in environment management, configuration control, scripting/automation, and troubleshooting complex integrated systems.

• Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership for intricate engineering projects.

• Preferred: experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, containerization/orchestration, automated testing, and observability tools.

• Preferred: experience in supporting regulated, healthcare, or other security-sensitive enterprise environments.
