This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Regularly engage with customers and follow up to secure service projects and achieve growth objectives.
• Serve as the customer's primary point of contact while collaborating with cross-functional leaders (Engineering, Parts, Services, Projects) to implement appropriate actions and swiftly resolve customer concerns.
• Work alongside customer personnel (Operations, Engineering, Training, and Purchasing) to troubleshoot product issues, enhance plant availability, and optimize the use of purchased services, including parts, field service, upgrades, and other offerings provided by GE.
• Convert customer needs and requirements into comprehensive plans, driving internal execution to achieve set targets.
• Partner with customers to formulate long-term success strategies by understanding their organization, assets, potential downtime losses, and installed base.
• Ensure that warranty and service commitments are fulfilled, including timely deliveries, high-quality standards, adherence to contractual obligations, and expected profitability from the service order.
• Conduct customer site visits and/or organize routine calls to cultivate business relationships and promote service upselling.
• Share insights gained to enhance standardization and operational efficiencies.
• Oversee all financial reporting related to services and parts provided to customers.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in a heavy industry setting involving customer interaction.
• Experience in a customer-facing Service Delivery or Project Management role within a service context.
• Demonstrated experience in the Industry, Metals, or Oil & Gas sectors, with technical expertise in power generation, metals, mining, and plastic processes.
• Proven success in maintaining long-term client relationships, delivering services, and adhering to strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail in financial tracking and service reporting.
• A commitment to ownership and accountability that drives customer solutions and profitability in services.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to prioritize tasks and adjust activities to align with business needs and departmental objectives.
• A quick learner who embraces departmental policies, procedures, and practices.
• A strong record of exhibiting a high level of personal and professional ethics and integrity.
