This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the design, execution, and ongoing enhancement of security controls across Managed Services platforms, infrastructure, cloud environments, and identity systems.
• Act as the primary technical authority for security architecture, threat mitigation, risk management, vulnerability remediation, and handling complex security incidents.
• Propel enterprise Identity & Access Management functionalities, including authentication, authorization, privileged access management, access governance, and least-privilege frameworks.
• Develop and uphold security standards, secure engineering practices, and compliance controls in accordance with PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product teams to integrate security throughout the technology lifecycle and support DevSecOps as well as secure-by-design initiatives.
• Offer technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction while assessing emerging technologies, threats, and opportunities to enhance CDW's security posture.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure security, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering professionals.
• Extensive expertise in securing enterprise-scale hybrid and cloud environments.
• Practical experience in security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management.
• Strong comprehension of IAM, privileged access management, endpoint protection, network security, cloud security, Zero Trust architectures, threat detection, and security automation.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, Secure SDLC, and infrastructure or security automation using Python or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST, and CIS Controls.
• Capability to convert security requirements into scalable technical solutions and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, architecture, and business stakeholders.
• CISSP certification is advantageous.
• Certifications such as CCNP Security, CCSP, GIAC, Azure Security, or equivalent are a plus.
• Experience with platform engineering and infrastructure automation initiatives is desirable.
• Exposure to AI, cloud transformation, or modernization programs is beneficial.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture practices and governance frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience in designing secure access models for extensive managed services environments is a bonus.
• Quarterly bonus target of 10% subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
