Lead SAP S/4 Technical Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership throughout SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

• Define the technical architecture and direct development and integration strategies.

• Establish and uphold technical standards.

• Collaborate with both functional and technical teams during the software development lifecycle.

• Assist in technical design decisions, development estimates, staffing, code quality, solution troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and technical delivery.

• Lead both onsite and offshore SAP development teams.

• Communicate effectively with client stakeholders and distributed development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15 years of SAP technical experience with significant exposure to SAP S/4HANA architecture and implementation.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP architecture, including Java and ABAP application servers, Service-Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Services, SAP installation concepts, and Basis administration.

• Strong comprehension of ABAP/Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, OData, SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, Fiori Launchpad, and SAP BTP.

• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies such as BAPIs, IDOCs, ALE, web services, SAP PI architecture, adapters, and integration scenarios.

• Experience with development architecture, data conversion, enhancements, transport strategies, workflow, forms, and SAP Solution Manager.

• Proficient in SAP ACTIVATE methodology, RICEWF requirements, technical specifications, development estimates, staffing, coding standards, and ABAP code reviews.

• Proven ability to provide technical leadership throughout the complete software project lifecycle.

• Experience managing onsite and offshore SAP development teams with strong communication skills for client interactions.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Willingness to travel.

• SAP S/4HANA certification is recommended but not mandatory.
