Lead SAP Fiori / UI5 Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide a small team of UI developers, promoting collaboration and technical excellence.

• Take ownership of the technical strategy and architecture for UI5 / Fiori solutions implemented in SAP BTP environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain UI components utilizing SAP UI5, Fiori Elements, JavaScript, HTML5, and contemporary web technologies.

• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product owners to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

• Ensure that UI applications achieve high performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.

• Supervise the integration of applications with SAP backend systems, APIs, and cloud services.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development processes and best practices.

• Create clear and detailed technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP RAP and/or CAP software development or a comparable field.

• Demonstrated expertise in SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements (expert-level).

• Profound understanding of OData services, CDS views, SAP Gateway, and integration with SAP backend systems.

• Strong grasp of SAP BTP environments and cloud-based development methodologies.

• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and accessibility regulations.

• Proven capability to lead and mentor small development teams.

• Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.

• A proactive attitude and practical experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in an agile development setting.

• Proficiency in English.
