This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Billing.
• Take ownership of our Salesforce CPQ and Billing implementation, which includes managing the product catalog, pricing rules, quote templates, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.
• Design scalable and maintainable solutions utilizing Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Flow.
• Facilitate integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware solutions.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance, and Product teams to convert business requirements into technical designs.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and methodologies to enhance coding, testing, documentation, and solution design.
• Set and uphold Salesforce development best practices, code review protocols, and release management procedures.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level Salesforce engineers.
• Assess new Salesforce features and platform releases; provide recommendations for their adoption.
• Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and Billing, covering aspects like configuration, custom pricing, amendments, renewals, and invoice generation.
• Strong skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce Flow.
• Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations through REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and tools such as MuleSoft or comparable middleware.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and a proven track record of leveraging them to enhance productivity and output quality.
• Expertise in Salesforce DX, Git-based source control, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, or custom pipelines).
• Required Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Preferred qualifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification, experience with Revenue Cloud or advanced Billing configurations, exposure to full-stack development (e.g., internal tooling or Salesforce-adjacent web services), experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, and a background in an Agile/Scrum setting.
