This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
β’ Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Billing.
β’ Take ownership of our Salesforce CPQ and Billing implementation, which includes managing the product catalog, pricing rules, quote templates, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.
β’ Design scalable and maintainable solutions utilizing Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Flow.
β’ Facilitate integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware solutions.
β’ Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance, and Product teams to convert business requirements into technical designs.
β’ Utilize AI-assisted development tools and methodologies to enhance coding, testing, documentation, and solution design.
β’ Set and uphold Salesforce development best practices, code review protocols, and release management procedures.
β’ Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level Salesforce engineers.
β’ Assess new Salesforce features and platform releases; provide recommendations for their adoption.
β’ Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
β’ 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
β’ Extensive knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and Billing, covering aspects like configuration, custom pricing, amendments, renewals, and invoice generation.
β’ Strong skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce Flow.
β’ Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
β’ Experience with Salesforce integrations through REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and tools such as MuleSoft or comparable middleware.
β’ Familiarity with AI coding assistants and a proven track record of leveraging them to enhance productivity and output quality.
β’ Expertise in Salesforce DX, Git-based source control, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, or custom pipelines).
β’ Required Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
β’ Preferred qualifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification, experience with Revenue Cloud or advanced Billing configurations, exposure to full-stack development (e.g., internal tooling or Salesforce-adjacent web services), experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, and a background in an Agile/Scrum setting.
