Lead Sales Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Veeam's products while collaborating closely with our sales team.

• Facilitate technical presales discussions and presentations, both remotely and in person.

• Comprehend customers' technical and strategic challenges, illustrating how Veeam can be a vital component in achieving their goals.

• Assist customers with product evaluations and ensure knowledge transfer during the presales stage.

• Work together with customers and partners to convert business and customer needs into technical specifications and clearly communicate them.

• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept alongside our partners and clients.

• Engage in and lead events, webinars, and various activities aimed at generating leads and promoting our products in the market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience working with enterprise clients and handling enterprise-level topics.

• Background in solution selling and technical presales with enterprise customers in the backup and security sector.

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructures and their interdependencies within complex data centers.

• Experience in deploying software solutions and implementing them in intricate IT environments.

• Practical experience with backup technologies, storage solutions, and server or cloud-based systems.

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, along with experience in delivering presentations in both German and English.
