Lead Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete revenue function, which includes the implementation and ongoing compliance of ASC 606, along with drafting and maintaining technical accounting memos and policies, ensuring precise financial reporting.

• Oversee the revenue close process, managing deferred revenue and accounts receivable (AR), which encompasses reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis.

• Assist in the design and testing of Quote-to-Cash initiatives aimed at enhancing scalability.

• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and oversee indirect tax compliance.

• Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for revenue and AR inquiries throughout the organization, ensuring clear and comprehensive process documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Revenue Accounting, particularly with ASC 606 and ASC 326.

• Profound knowledge of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle and a proven history of implementing process enhancements.

• Demonstrated capability to identify challenges and automate solutions in dynamic environments with minimal oversight.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively influence changes across various departments.
