
Lead Quantitative and Qualitative Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Design and spearhead both quantitative and qualitative research initiatives, which include surveys, interviews, usability assessments, and ethnographic methods.
• Oversee survey strategy, development, implementation, and result analysis to derive actionable insights and gauge customer sentiment.
• Ensure that research methodologies adhere to ethical standards, encompassing informed consent and the safeguarding of personally identifiable information.
• Integrate qualitative and quantitative data into insights that inform design, product, and policy decisions.
• Convert findings into comprehensive reports, personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and data visualizations.
• Offer strategic guidance on data visualization techniques.
• Deliver presentations of findings to government agency stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with CX strategists, service designers, data scientists, and technologists to validate concepts, enhance usability, and improve service delivery.
• Implement Human-Centered Design and service design principles across both digital and non-digital interactions.
• Contribute to Voice of the Customer initiatives by analyzing feedback channels, comment streams, and behavioral data.
• Play a role in developing a research strategy and roadmap aligned with program and agency priorities.
• Work with stakeholders to establish CX success metrics and assess research-driven recommendations.
• Connect research insights to service performance and outcomes to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across various teams and disciplines in a dynamic contractor environment.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in UX/CX research, market research, human factors, behavioral science, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• US citizenship is mandatory.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is essential.
• Must reside and perform work in the United States.
• Experience with Figma is preferred for collaboration, workshops, prototyping, and wireframing.
• Familiarity with Qualtrics is preferred for survey deployment and analytics.
• Experience with Usertesting.com or similar platforms for usability testing or interviews is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred for analysis, reporting, and collaboration.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, advanced survey design, and mixed-methods synthesis is preferred.
• Background in service design and customer experience research is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with federal agencies is preferred.
