This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation of comprehensive master schedules in Microsoft Project, from the point of project handoff through to final commissioning and closeout.
• Convert proposal schedules into detailed execution plans featuring robust logic, milestone interfaces, functional ownership, and realistic durations that align with project scope and contractual obligations.
• Organize and facilitate schedule development workshops involving Project Management, Engineering, Controls, Procurement, Manufacturing, Field Operations, Commissioning, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between the project's execution strategy and the schedule structure, sequencing, milestone plans, and resource assumptions.
• Conduct advanced schedule analysis, including critical path evaluation, scenario modeling, float trend analysis, milestone forecasting, and recovery planning.
• Assist Project Managers in navigating complex and high-risk projects by identifying execution risks early and recommending proactive measures.
• Lead assessments of schedule impacts due to scope changes, supply chain disruptions, customer-driven alterations, field access challenges, and installation or startup constraints.
• Create and deliver updates on schedule health, executive summaries, recovery plans, and milestone forecasts for internal leadership and customer presentations.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Senior Project Planners and other planning resources.
• Promote consistency in scheduling practices, templates, logic standards, update routines, and reporting across various projects.
• Contribute to lessons learned and offer feedback to proposal and estimating teams to enhance future schedule assumptions and execution planning.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be taken into account.
• Generally, 8–12 years of experience in planning and scheduling, with a track record of success in large, complex, engineered-to-order, or high-risk projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Strong comprehension of integrated project delivery encompassing engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation, and commissioning.
• Proven capability to lead scheduling strategies and support Project Managers in high-pressure execution scenarios.
