Lead Project Manager – Power Plants

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• The Lead Project Manager typically operates from a Government-funded Document Center, though there may be instances where the Lead Project Manager works from a Contractor-provided facility.

• The Lead Project Manager usually reports directly to the Division Contract Director or to a Deputy.

• The Lead Project Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating all resources at the Document Center, which includes subordinate Project Manager staff and additional personnel.

• In Document Centers that handle multiple cases, the Lead Project Manager must manage his/her own caseload while also fulfilling lead and coordinating responsibilities.

• Besides Project Manager duties, the Lead Project Manager collaborates with the COR and Government Case Managers regarding the overall operations of the Document Center, scheduling, work assignments, staffing, progress reporting, security, and more.

• The Lead Project Manager is accountable for ensuring the quality and timeliness of all work executed from the Document Center.

• The Lead Project Manager also engages in overall coordination with other Contractor components.


⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance before starting (candidates do not need to be cleared at the time of application).

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fully remote setting.

• A minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in major litigation support projects, including at least one year of Project Manager experience or equivalent.

• Proven capability to manage multiple complex and time-sensitive litigation support activities concurrently, including technical/data processing support tasks and cases involving e-discovery.

• Established ability to communicate effectively with attorneys on complex support tasks.

• Requires expert knowledge in litigation support; exceptional writing and oral communication skills; and strong management capabilities.

• A robust technical background demonstrated through user-level knowledge of eDiscovery tools and data management.

• Demonstrated understanding of the Government’s and Contractor’s IT environment in which the work is to be performed, along with familiarity with Contractor’s standard eDiscovery solutions, such as Clearwell and Relativity.

• Must have the ability to foresee litigation support requirements and create as well as implement detailed plans to address those needs.

• Requires knowledge of the Government's data processing environment relevant to the work, which includes office automation networks, PC-based databases, and other applications, as well as internet and server-based databases and other applications.
