Lead Professional Services Engineer, Actimize

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the implementation of the analytics suite across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise settings.

• Resolve production challenges related to networks, servers, databases, and integrations.

• Partner with product, data engineering, and platform teams to enhance performance and scalability.

• Engage directly with enterprise clients to develop environments that support data, analytics, and security workflows.

• Install, configure, optimize, and fix software deployments.

• Enhance product reliability, performance, customer adoption, and overall trust.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in enterprise system administration, with technology/software development experience potentially substituting for a degree.

• Strong background in SQL Server administration, covering user provisioning, query writing, performance maintenance, and backup/restore procedures.

• Practical knowledge of networking protocols, certificates, DNS/DHCP, SSO/SAML, ODBC, and cloud-based systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, contemporary security principles, and containerized application delivery.

• Proficient in Windows Server, IIS, NTFS/UNC security, and PowerShell or similar scripting languages.

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Strategy (MicroStrategy), and ETL tools.

• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in customer-facing delivery.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively, think creatively, and address unfamiliar technical challenges.

• Flexible working hours are required.

• Weekend work is necessary, typically not exceeding 50% of the time.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.
