This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and implement strategic affinity marketing plans to achieve shared business objectives.

• Establish and relay affinity marketing targets and strategies, ensuring that all management levels are updated on the progress of those objectives.

• Cultivate and sustain enduring, strong relationships with both internal and external partners, collaborating to gain a deeper understanding of their business goals and requirements.

• Analyze industry-specific trends and landscapes for both DIRECTV and its affinity partners to guide the strategic marketing initiatives.

• Perform competitive assessments to monitor and evaluate the positioning of affinity offerings from key industry competitors, identifying trends, opportunities, and strategic shifts to inform brand positioning and campaign planning.

• Clearly communicate target audiences, value propositions, and marketing strategies through impactful presentations and proposals.

• Partner with the digital team to create and maintain analytics reports that provide insights into key performance metrics, identifying actionable strategies to optimize campaigns and enhance engagement and response rates.

• Craft concise and compelling go-to-market briefs to mobilize cross-functional marketing teams to implement plans for affinity marketing.

• Take ownership of the campaign plan of record and establish workback schedules for affinity marketing initiatives.

• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of affinity marketing across all channels and tactics – including advertising, paid media, PR, dotcom, and other sales channels, as well as legal, brand/messaging, and more.

• Travel may be required for up to 10% of the role.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field is highly preferred.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in product marketing or management.

• Experience in affinity marketing, whether at a brand or agency.

• Previous experience in supervising direct reports or agencies is advantageous.

• A results-oriented, innovative, and adaptable team player.

• Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.

• Exceptional executive-level presentation and communication skills to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.

• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word with high standards of aesthetics and organization.

• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment is essential.

• Comfortable leading in a cross-functional setting to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
