This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The growth strategy for the consumer product: identifying the key activation, conversion, retention, and cross-adoption opportunities, along with the rationale behind them.
• The frameworks that determine user routing, prioritized for graduation and maximizing enterprise value.
• The app’s structure and information architecture: how the product is organized and how we guide users to the appropriate place at the optimal time.
• Viewing retention as a primary outcome, rather than merely focusing on top-of-funnel growth.
• A prioritized roadmap for experiments. You will design the tests, establish the hypotheses, and analyze the results independently.
• Managing the entire funnel from the initial touchpoint through to repeated engagement, including user routing between products and the adoption of adjacent offerings.
• Coordinating with the heads of our product areas to align on growth opportunities and shared frameworks.
• Collaborating with leaders from Cash Advance, Everyday Money, Line of Credit, and Credit Card products to provide exceptional user experiences and returns across the portfolio.
• The pricing model, developed in close partnership with Credit and the heads of each product, aimed at increasing wallet share and monetization across the portfolio.
• The product-pipeline strategy, co-managed with Credit and the Head of US Core. You will create the strategy, analysis, and rationale that outline which products are absent from our pipeline and worth developing.
• Exploring innovative growth mechanisms beyond the obvious. We aim for new growth loops, rather than just minor referral adjustments.
• Identifying partnership-driven growth opportunities that expand reach beyond the core product surface.
• Extensive experience in consumer growth. You have managed consumer growth end-to-end and can showcase work that positively impacted real business metrics.
• Proven ability to scale. You have successfully scaled a product or growth function and can demonstrate its trajectory.
• Authentic user empathy. This is crucial and non-negotiable for this role. You possess strong intuition regarding user behavior, supported by research rather than just dashboards. This trait is of utmost importance to us.
• Practical experience with experimentation. You are capable of designing and executing A/B tests yourself and interpreting the results. You do not delegate this task to an analytics partner.
• Versatile strategic thinking. You can shift from a multi-quarter growth strategy down to the wording on a single screen and back again.
• Sound judgment on quality versus speed. You understand when to advocate for a quick, scrappy test to gain insights and when to invest in a robust, high-quality build, and you can clearly articulate the rationale for each decision.
• Ability to orchestrate and influence. You can lead and align senior product and functional leaders without direct authority, driving a shared framework across areas.
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills. You collaborate deeply with design, credit, and other product owners to deliver experiences and results, not just metrics.
• Resilience under pressure. You maintain a strong point of view and defend it with compelling reasoning, even against strong, opinionated cross-functional partners.
• A history of success in fast-paced environments where you managed a significant surface area, rather than just a small part of a large organization’s roadmap.
• Experience in direct-to-consumer products is essential. Familiarity with subscription models is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Virtual-first teamwork: The Tilt team collaborates across 14 countries, spanning 12 time zones and beyond. You’ll start with a work-from-home office reimbursement.
• Competitive pay: We value potential, reflected in our competitive compensation packages and generous equity offerings.
• Comprehensive support: Access flexible health plans at every premium level, along with substantial subsidies that meet global standards.
• Visibility is assured: You can expect direct exposure to our leadership team — we foster an environment where good ideas circulate rapidly.
• Paid global onsite gatherings: We believe in the magic of in-person interaction; we meet twice a year to reconnect over shared meals or adventurous activities like kayaking. (Past locations include Vail, San Diego, and Mexico City, among others.)
• Recognition of impact: Growth opportunities are tied to your contributions, not rigid promotion schedules.
