This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Establish the vision for the product or team within the context of a specific team, product, or feature set, ensuring alignment with user requirements and business goals.
• Craft a clear vision for future objectives and success criteria for the team/product while actively participating in the development of the long-term product vision and strategy.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of the policies, operations, and desired outcomes driven by the team's efforts; cultivate a thorough understanding of user needs, behaviors, and challenges to inform product strategy and decision-making.
• Engage with Federal customers, end users, and Human-centered Design (HCD) researchers to identify and confirm user and business requirements.
• Comprehend the scope of the enabler work and collaborate with System Architects, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Engineers, and others to assist in product planning and decision-making.
• Understand, visualize, and manage upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Prepare for and participate in Quarterly (PI) Planning.
• Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, retrospectives, and standups.
• Create actionable and value-driven features and stories while collaborating with the team to define benefit hypotheses and acceptance criteria.
• Work with the development and testing team to ensure effective implementation of system tests.
• Provide operational, tactical, and strategic insights to achieve program goals, meet scheduled deliverables, and enhance user satisfaction.
• Drive delivery and continuous improvement by leveraging feedback and metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Maintain proactive and transparent communication across the program and with stakeholders to ensure awareness of progress and challenges.
• Serve as a communication bridge between agile/project teams and key stakeholders by fostering and maintaining relationships.
• All applicants must successfully pass public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or another relevant scientific or technical field.
• Candidates with six (6) years of general information technology experience, including four (4) years of specialized experience pertinent to the position, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Over 10 years of product management experience, particularly in delivering technology products within an Agile framework.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex technology projects from planning to implementation.
• Proficient in developing and managing product roadmaps.
• Familiarity with applying human-centered design principles.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, or similar platforms.
• Ability to utilize data to inform product decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
