This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.
• Take ownership of brokerage products designed for the Saudi and GCC markets, encompassing equities, Sukuk, ETFs, and derivatives offerings.
• Shape the brokerage product strategy by evaluating ROI, regional market competition, regulatory obligations, and build-vs-buy scenarios.
• Play a key role in the product roadmap and strategy, focusing on CMA-compliant features, Sharia-compliant solutions, and the needs of the regional market.
• Develop product specifications and collaborate with engineers to implement programs that adhere to local regulatory and market standards.
• Facilitate customer discussions regarding brokerage processes and product issues to gather insights and translate them into enhancements for GCC clients.
• Engage with the CMA, Tadawul, Edaa, and other regional regulators to influence product strategy and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide timely and accurate updates on product status and outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders, including regional partners and institutional clients.
• Enhance brokerage operational efficiency by proposing solutions and managing metrics, particularly in relation to regional settlement, custody, and clearing workflows.
• Work alongside local operations teams to guarantee smooth integration between Alpaca’s global platform and the KSA/GCC market infrastructure.
• Execute ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.
• Enthusiastic about Alpaca's mission and dedicated to advancing financial infrastructure throughout the GCC.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, or launching a startup, ideally within financial services or fintech.
• Proven interest and experience in brokerage, capital markets, or fintech within the Saudi or GCC region.
• Solid grasp of the CMA regulatory framework, Tadawul market structure, and the landscape of GCC capital markets.
• Proficiency in data analysis using SQL and a relevant BI tool.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, encompassing both written and verbal abilities, along with strong collaboration skills.
• Business acumen to navigate the trade-offs between stakeholder needs and technology feasibility, considering time and budget constraints.
