• Convert marketplace, partner, and operational complexities into user-friendly workflows for both internal and external users.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and business leaders to establish problem framing, success criteria, trade-offs, and release scope.
• Design with a focus on trust, clarity, speed, and usability in workflows where users require accurate information and confident next steps.
• Leverage research, analytics, provider conversations, partner feedback, frontline team insights, product data, and business context to inform design decisions.
• Identify key opportunities where enhanced provider workflows can lead to improved customer outcomes and business performance.
• Clearly articulate design rationale to product teams, engineering partners, marketing collaborators, operational stakeholders, and senior leaders.

• Apply and build upon shared APFM patterns to ensure product surfaces are coherent across various domains.
• Help differentiate between provider-specific design needs and reusable system patterns.
• Contribute to common foundations, including interaction patterns, information architecture, accessibility, UX writing, and craft standards.
• Mentor and elevate the standards for other designers through critique, pattern quality, and effective product storytelling, without necessitating people-management responsibilities.
• Adopt a builder's mindset in design: utilize lightweight prototypes, AI-assisted workflows, and experimental approaches to bring ideas to life more quickly.
• Experiment with AI tools to explore product directions, prototype workflows, synthesize inputs, validate assumptions, and enhance the speed and quality of design work.
• Assist the team in recognizing where AI significantly enhances the experience, and where human judgment, trust, and clarity are paramount. Share insights with design and stakeholders to foster collective improvement.
• Over 7 years of product design experience with complex web, SaaS, marketplace, CRM, internal tools, partner portals, or operations-focused products.
• A robust portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership from vague problem framing to delivered product, including work that has shaped product strategy or enhanced quality across multiple workstreams.
• Exceptional skills in interaction design, systems thinking, information architecture, and product judgment.
• Proven curiosity and practical experimentation with AI tools within the design or product development process.
• Capability to articulate not just what you designed, but how evidence, tools, prototypes, constraints, and judgment informed your decisions.
• Experience thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where ownership, pragmatism, and cross-functional trust are essential.
• Proficient in Figma, with the ability to convey design intent through flows, prototypes, specifications, and compelling design storytelling.
