This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Lead the User Experience design process, crafting industry-leading, high-value mobile and web experiences that simplify the member plan journey across various business sectors.
• Convert consumer insights into actionable design strategies and implementations that address genuine user needs.
• Act as a key point of contact with cross-functional partners within your workstream, ensuring that UX deliverables are aligned.
• Play an essential role in advancing our design framework, contributing to the development of our design system and interaction patterns by defining, designing, and refining high-quality components and patterns for both web and mobile applications.
• Build trust and consensus among key stakeholders and senior leaders by leveraging storytelling, user journeys, prototypes, and other UX methodologies to convey complex concepts, customer challenges, and viable solutions.
• Produce strategic design deliverables such as strategy presentations, visions of future experiences, and advocate for these strategies across various teams and workstreams.
• Organize and lead workshops focused on hypothesis discovery, exploring potential solutions, fostering enthusiasm, building shared understanding, and promoting team alignment.
• Ensure adherence to digital principles, standards, styles, design patterns, and renderings, representing them accurately.
• Collaborate with our Insights team to establish long-term research strategies and facilitate ongoing discovery and iterative delivery.
• Work with Content Strategy to continuously enhance and improve content, navigation, and site structure.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Product Designer, User Experience Designer, or Interaction Designer.
• An online portfolio must be submitted with your application, showcasing your ability to create engaging mobile consumer user experiences.
• A passion for designing mobile applications, supported by a portfolio that reflects expert knowledge and technical proficiency.
• Proficiency in Figma, with a strong command of its latest features and functionalities.
• Experience designing within the constraints of business, technical, and design guidelines.
• Ability to modify existing processes and deliverables as needed to address project requirements and enhance efficiency and quality.
• Proven capability in designing complex transactional user interfaces and interactions.
• Experience in creating conceptual models, site maps, interaction flows, design patterns, and design specifications.
• Demonstrated experience in defining research hypotheses and testing criteria, leading or participating in user research, and translating user research findings into design decisions.
• A strong history of iterating and delivering digital products as part of an agile team.
