This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Spearhead the design of AI-powered product experiences across Cisco Networking platforms and products, from the initial discovery phase to launch and subsequent iterations.
• Transform unclear AI opportunities into cohesive product concepts, user flows, prototypes, and finalized experiences.
• Create AI-centric interactions that reveal pertinent information, adjust to contextual factors, facilitate decision-making, automate routine tasks, and maintain customer autonomy.
• Stay informed about advancements in AI technology and its ongoing evolution.
• Convert user objectives into data models, telemetry specifications, model training requirements, and design strategies.
• Collaborate across Networking to ensure that technical capabilities are beneficial for customers and practical for teams.
• Design adaptable experiences tailored to various personas, behaviors, workflows, and customer requirements.
• Establish reusable UX patterns for AI explanations, user control, review, correction, feedback, and complex workflows.
• Work with teams employing rapid design methodologies, AI tools, and design thinking to enhance collaboration, prototyping, and decision-making processes.
• Guide and mentor designers while elevating the quality of their craft.
• A portfolio demonstrating shipped AI-driven, ML-enabled, or data-centric product experiences that clearly deliver customer value and outcomes.
• Over 10 years of product design experience leading intricate enterprise, platform, or technical products from conception to delivery.
• Experience in designing AI-enabled products or ML-driven workflows, focusing on aspects such as trust, control, personalization, review, feedback, adoption, and failure states.
• Strong UX/UI competencies in interaction design, visual craftsmanship, systems thinking, and data visualization for complex workflows and decision support.
• Technical proficiency with AI, data, platform, and engineering collaborators.
• Experience in aligning teams through research, prototyping, AI tools, lean UX practices, and measurable outcomes.
• Background in mentoring designers and enhancing the quality of their craft.
• Familiarity with AI tools to explore, prototype, test, communicate, and foster collaboration.
