This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Growth partner. Collaborate with our Acquisition and Activation Growth squads to design experiments, prioritize hypotheses, and analyze impactful outcomes.

• Experimentation. Take ownership of the end-to-end experimentation framework: from design and statistical rigor to readouts and subsequent decisions.

• Semantic layer + self-serve. Develop our semantic layer in Omni, enabling PMs, designers, and Sales to independently access reliable answers without needing to consult you.

• Company reporting. Create source-of-truth dashboards that link product and growth metrics to ARR, activation, retention, and ROI.

• Data quality. Collaborate with Engineering and Data Platform to ensure the validation of tracking, schemas, and pipelines across Heap, BigQuery, and Omni.

• Cross-functional comms. Convert complex analyses into clear, actionable narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences across Product, Growth, and Leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Founding-analyst profile. You have served as the sole analyst or the first analytics hire in a smaller company, establishing a function from the ground up. You are not a specialist who handled just one area in a large organization.

• Experience. Over 5 years of experience in product, growth, or analytics at a SaaS or PLG company. If you have managed analytics comprehensively at a small or mid-sized SaaS company, whether for 4 years or 10, we are interested in speaking with you.

• SQL + BI. Proficient in SQL (BigQuery preferred) and experienced with a modern BI tool. While we use Omni, experience with Looker, Mode, or Tableau is also relevant.

• Event tools. Proficient with Heap (preferred) or similar event tools (such as Amplitude, Mixpanel). You possess the ability to validate tracking from end to end.

• Experimentation chops. Comfortable in designing A/B tests, applying statistical rigor, and interpreting results with appropriate confidence.

• Analytical depth. Familiar with Python or R for advanced analysis.

• Business orientation. Able to link insights to financial outcomes (activation, conversion, retention) and influence the Product and Growth roadmaps.

• Communication. A clear communicator who transforms complex analyses into concise, actionable narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• **Nice to Have:**

• Experience in building or scaling a company-wide experimentation program.

• Exposure to financial or operational analytics such as CAC payback, ROI attribution, or funnel contribution modeling.

• Familiarity with modern data stack tools like dbt, Fivetran, or Airflow.

🏝️ Benefits

• 100% coverage of health, dental, and vision insurance for employees (50% for dependents).

• Generous PTO, including parental leave.

• 401(k) plan.

• Company laptop and home-office stipend.

• Bi-annual company retreats.

• Instrumentl is rapidly evolving, providing you with continuous new challenges and opportunities for growth.
