This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Implements procurement processes and standards, encompassing RFP management, negotiations, cost accountability, and program execution.
• Acts as the main contact for client inquiries related to order status, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring a smooth customer journey.
• Works collaboratively with buyers on purchasing tasks for goods, materials, supplies, and services, enhancing procurement efficacy.
• Prepares and processes purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure effective procurement operations.
• Gathers and evaluates price proposals, financial reports, and other essential data to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Aids in the creation of requests for proposals (RFPs) and bid packages, ensuring competitive and compliant sourcing.
• Maintains thorough records of purchases, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventory levels, ensuring compliance with account requirements.
• Coordinates with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries, proactively addressing issues such as shortages and delays.
• Manages relationships with assigned suppliers within a specific commodity, building strong partnerships.
• Supervises schedules and purchase orders for Commodity, ensuring they align with business requirements.
• May oversee delivery assurance activities to ensure reliable and efficient supply chain operations.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned to support departmental objectives and maintain operational efficiency.
• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline.
• Proficient in English with the capability to communicate fluently and professionally in both spoken and written forms.
