Lead Primary Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the independent creation of key technological solutions for high-voltage initiatives (110kV–380kV), encompassing floor plans, plant layouts, sections, site plans, construction specifications, mechanical calculations, and design concepts for renovations.

• Take ownership of coordinating constructive interfaces among project workstreams, ensuring coherence between technical design and project delivery needs.

• Create and uphold project documentation utilizing AutoCAD, Primtech, and/or Revit (2D/3D), implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards wherever applicable.

• Collect and verify essential technical plant data and configurations, facilitating clarification of interfaces during coordination meetings with project personnel, clients, and vendors.

• Effectively communicate within the project team and to management regarding any deviations in quality, costs, timelines, and project objectives.

• Act as a leading voice in cross-functional project teams, taking charge of designated sub-projects from initiation to completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A formal education culminating in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, particularly with a focus on Energy Technology, is beneficial — however, we prioritize your overall experience and professional accomplishments.

• Extensive experience in primary technical planning, project management, and execution of projects in the high-voltage and extra-high voltage spectrum (110kV–380kV).

• Expertise in AutoCAD, Primtech, and/or Revit for 2D/3D design and documentation processes.

• Proficient in English, with the capability to communicate effectively across international project teams and with external stakeholders.

• Strong analytical mindset and the capability to devise structured, practical solutions to intricate technical challenges.

• Familiarity with BIM methodologies and their application in substation design projects is preferred.

• Acquaintance with MS Office and Windows in a project engineering context is preferred.

• Experience in coordinating efforts across multidisciplinary or international project teams is preferred.
