This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the Program Manager for the Outage Scoping Platform, overseeing feature development, roadmap implementation, prioritization, budget oversight, and ensuring delivery aligns with the needs of Outage Engineering.
• Serve as the primary AI feature representative for Outage Engineering, managing requirements, use cases, validation, and the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities that aid in outage scoping and decision-making.
• Lead the planning and execution processes across various functions including Outage Engineering, IT, Heavy-duty Services Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Multi-year agreement Risk, Design COE, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate discussions surrounding outage scoping and planning to guarantee that platform capabilities are in sync with actual outage feedback and engineering best practices.
• Convert engineering, operational, and outage productivity requirements into well-defined program specifications and user stories for IT and AI development teams.
• Enhance data-driven outage scope recommendations by incorporating analytics, operational history, fleet issues, and reliability insights within the OSA platform.
• Promote platform adoption, ensure cross-system integration, and manage change, including communication, training support, and feedback mechanisms with regional and site teams.
• Identify avenues for improving outage productivity, cycle times, and costs through new tools, AI features, and process refinements.
• Coordinate the testing, validation, and rollout of new system and AI features with IT to guarantee quality, reliability, and engineering acceptance.
• Monitor program performance, risks, and dependencies; proactively address obstacles to ensure timely delivery.
• Incorporate LEAN, simplification, and continuous improvement principles into program execution and the evolution of the platform.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering, outage planning, and/or technical program management.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with gas turbines, combined cycle power plants, or turbomachinery-related engineering workflows.
• A solid understanding of outage planning, scoping, or execution processes.
• Proven experience in coordinating across matrixed, global organizations, including IT teams.
• Proficient in English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience and enthusiasm for working with IT platforms, analytics tools, or AI-enabled solutions in an engineering or operational context.
• Capability to connect technical specifics, operational data, and business results into a coherent, comprehensive narrative.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities across engineering, IT, and leadership teams.
• A demonstrated history of achieving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with reliability concepts, fleet analytics, or outage risk assessment methodologies (e.g., Weibull, reliability estimates, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance engineering rigor with practical execution.
