This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Serve as a key subject matter expert for the country.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with crucial stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
• Oversee the complete payroll process in-house, including statutory filing obligations, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
• Ensure comprehensive data integrity and quality.
• Perform accounting and reconciliations.
• Concentrate on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Initiate and refine processes for improvement.
• Provide mentorship and support to payroll specialists.
• Act as a backup for regional managers during their absence.
• Experience in payroll management or a related field.
• Familiarity with payroll best practices.
• Proficient in software tools such as SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Possess an analytical mindset complemented by strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment with a commitment to making a difference.
• A productivity enthusiast who continuously seeks ways to enhance efficiency.
• Understanding the importance of asynchronous work methods.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience working remotely is not mandatory but is advantageous.
