This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take charge of the strategic vision for intricate Paid Search configurations and global client accounts.
• Create and enhance cross-channel Paid Search and full-funnel strategies.
• Direct and prioritize operational initiatives with a clear emphasis on impact, scalability, and sustainability.
• Establish and consistently enhance a robust culture of testing and learning within Paid Search, which includes formulating clear hypotheses, structured testing, and systematically deriving insights.
• Ensure ongoing evaluation, testing, and refinement of new ideas, formats, and platform features.
• Offer strategic consulting at a peer level, fostering close collaboration and engagement with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assume functional leadership over the entire international SEA / Paid Search team, overseeing methodologies, standards, quality, and team development.
• Enable, mentor, and support team members in their daily operational tasks.
• Lead pitches, client presentations, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Paid Search / SEA / Search Advertising.
• Strong strategic insight into performance marketing, business objectives, and digital ecosystems.
• Experience with intricate account structures, automation, and contemporary Paid Search configurations.
• A passion for generating hypotheses, testing concepts, and continually enhancing performance.
• Proven track record in strategic consulting and direct client engagement.
• Structured and self-motivated working style, particularly in a remote setting.
• Proficient (business-level) German and English language skills are essential.
