• Develop exceptional styleframes, motion explorations, and visual directions across diverse media platforms.
• Establish aesthetic systems encompassing color palettes, lighting direction, composition, motion language, and rendering techniques.
• Convert strategy documents, briefs, and mood boards into detailed visual concepts.
• Create toolkits, look libraries, and visual guidelines that ensure consistency throughout the production process.
• Lead and manage nearshore/offshore artists and boutique studios, ensuring they align with the defined visual vision.
• Offer constructive, detailed feedback to uphold quality and consistency across all deliverables.
• Supervise visual outputs from distributed teams to ensure they adhere to craft and creative standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Animation Director to maintain and elevate the studio’s visual standards.
• Work in partnership with Creative Directors, Experience Designers, Producers, and Technical Directors to align visual design with narrative, interaction, and technical feasibility.
• Assist in pitches and new business initiatives through impactful visual exploration and look-development imagery.
• Guarantee that visual direction is effectively translated into real-time engines, large-format canvases, and immersive environments.
• Over 7 years of professional experience in visual design, art direction, motion design, or animation for immersive content or digital experiences.
• Proven experience leading or directing distributed creative teams and vendor studios.
• Established capability to define a visual style and successfully guide its execution from concept to completion.
• Expertise in motion design principles, lighting, composition, and storytelling through imagery.
• Strong proficiency in creating styleframes, look development, and high-fidelity visual systems.
• Confidence in balancing hands-on creation with leadership and feedback responsibilities.
• Ability to translate abstract strategies into concrete visual outcomes.
• Advanced skills in tools such as Houdini, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, Redshift/Octane, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
• Experience with real-time look development tools like Unreal, Unity, TouchDesigner, or Notch is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows or generative design tools is a plus.
• A background in experiential design, themed entertainment, museum media, or large-scale installations is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate visual intent to both creative and technical stakeholders.
