This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and manage training plans, instructional materials, and user enablement initiatives for military operators.
• Oversee field training and provide support during demonstrations, pilots, and operational use.
• Ensure operators are equipped to use the system confidently and accurately in real-world settings.
• Serve as the primary liaison between end users and internal teams, translating operator experiences into valuable engineering and product feedback.
• Minimize cognitive load and enhance usability by informing setup, displacement, interface, and training design.
• Integrate engineering and growth teams into the field, allowing them to engage with real operators in authentic conditions.
• Contribute to growth and business development by bringing operational credibility, user insights, and field relationships into customer interactions.
• Act as the initial point of contact for military clients and program offices.
• Engage in test events, lab evaluations, and field exercises to represent the operator's perspective throughout product development.
• Proven experience in field operations; you have dedicated your career to being present where the action occurs rather than remaining behind a desk.
• Background in operational deployment that enables you to build trust with operators quickly; experience in special operations or equivalent is valued but is not the sole requirement—what matters is your commitment to this work.
• Experience in training military or foreign personnel to operate systems independently in high-pressure environments, with a strong preference for train-the-trainer experience.
• Demonstrated capability to translate real-world field experiences into actionable insights for internal teams that engineers can utilize.
• Comfort in seamlessly navigating training, deployment support, customer interaction, and internal technical collaboration.
• History of collaborating with engineers and product teams on innovative technologies.
• Willingness and eagerness to travel frequently, including OCONUS, often on short notice.
