Lead Medical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main resource and point of contact for the Medical Assistant team.

• Provide daily guidance, support, and mentorship to Medical Assistants.

• Assist in the onboarding and training of new Medical Assistants.

• Oversee team workflows and identify areas for enhanced efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to clinical workflows, protocols, and organizational standards.

• Support leadership with quality assurance, workflow audits, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Help coordinate daily assignments and coverage for Medical Assistants.

• Relay operational challenges and suggestions to clinical leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in a relevant field.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

• Preferred 1–2+ years of leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience.

• Proficient in adapting to a dynamic remote work environment.

• Familiarity with EHR systems; experience with Athena is a plus.
