
Lead Mechanical Engineer – Nuclear

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engaged in the design of nuclear power plant systems, which includes the preparation or assessment of modification packages for active nuclear power plants.
• Creation of functional mechanical drawings and/or schematics for nuclear power plant systems.
• Performing engineering analyses and evaluations to assist with modifications and the operation of plant systems.
• Development of technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Evaluation of vendor bids for plant equipment.
• Conducting studies and evaluations of options for modifications to operational nuclear power plants.
• Preparing engineering cost estimates for client-requested work scopes.
• Visiting client office/plant site locations to engage with the client and present engineering tasks and their status.
• Leading engineering project teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of experience in the power industry.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering design for nuclear power plants.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous but not mandatory.
