This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design GitLab's AI-driven learning ecosystem, incorporating adaptive learning paths, coaching agents, bots, intelligent recommendations, and automated content workflows.
• Spearhead GitLab's organization-wide AI fluency and enablement strategy in collaboration with the Enterprise AI team, ranging from foundational literacy to advanced builder capabilities.
• Integrate AI fluency into onboarding processes, leadership development, and specialized learning pathways tailored to specific roles.
• Oversee the multi-year strategy and roadmap for the learning platform, which includes evaluations, migrations, integrations, and expansions of capabilities.
• Foster operational excellence within the Talent Management & Development team by managing the product roadmap, release schedules, intake processes, documentation, automations, and cross-departmental coordination.
• Collaborate with People Technology as the technical lead for Talent Development, converting learner and business requirements into architecture briefs and jointly developing agents, workflows, and platform integrations.
• Work with People Analytics to establish measurement frameworks and dashboards that track learning engagement, AI adoption, behavioral changes, capability enhancement, and program ROI.
• Direct global compliance training and vendor management, encompassing audit preparedness, negotiations, renewals, quarterly reviews, budgets, adoption objectives, and investment proposals.
• Proven experience in leading enterprise-level AI enablement or fluency programs within technology organizations, demonstrating workforce adoption and capability enhancement.
• Practical experience in designing and implementing AI agents, creating intelligent workflows, utilizing large language model APIs, and integrating AI functionalities into enterprise systems.
• Background in designing learning ecosystems that leverage AI for adaptive learning, intelligent recommendations, coaching, or automated content workflows.
• Experience in developing and managing multi-year technology and program roadmaps, effectively communicating trade-offs, and making investment decisions based on outcomes.
• Extensive knowledge of learning technology ecosystems, including administration of learning management systems, platform evaluations, migrations, integrations, and vendor oversight.
• Ability to convert talent and learner requirements into precise technical specifications and collaborate with engineers on APIs, data structures, and integration methodologies.
• Exceptional program management capabilities, encompassing roadmaps, intake processes, release schedules, triage, documentation, and automation.
• Familiarity with instructional design, adult learning theories, analytics, executive communications, and global compliance training.
