This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead and guide a team of developers, ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Perform code assessments, design evaluations, and architecture discussions.
• Propel technical decision-making and offer insights on solution architecture.
• Promote engineering excellence via continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and develop scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications.
• Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Architect solutions based on microservices and cloud-native methodologies.
• Ensure that applications fulfill performance, reliability, and scalability criteria.
• Actively participate in development, debugging, and performance enhancement.
• Create RESTful APIs and distributed applications utilizing modern Java frameworks.
• Address production issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Advocate for clean code principles and best practices in software engineering.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and guarantee timely feature delivery.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and technical challenges.
• 12–15 years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and principles of object-oriented design.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and REST API development.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Acquaintance with monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Expertise in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading development teams comprising 5–15 engineers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in mentoring developers and fostering technical advancement.
• Capability to balance hands-on development with leadership duties.
• Preferred experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and design patterns.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture and solution design is advantageous.
• Certifications in Java, AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes are beneficial.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
