This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.
• Oversee the architecture, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platform.
• Improve and sustain access governance segregation of duties (SoD) processes.
• Collaborate with business, Audit, and application teams to establish and maintain segregation of duties access controls.
• Develop security architecture standards for the adoption of new technologies.
• Identify, assess, and provide design requirements for security risks associated with IT and enterprise projects.
• Collaborate with business representatives and IT leaders to shape the information security strategy and direction.
• Create formal management reporting dashboards and metrics for senior leadership concerning information security risk and exposure.
• Comprehend security product/service cost drivers and industry trends that affect the information security program.
• Recognize areas where security policies and procedures need modification or where new policies should be created.
• Offer information security subject matter expertise to technology teams and projects.
• Assess and recommend security software/hardware solutions and their integration with existing architecture.
• Conduct third-party security risk assessments, particularly for cloud service providers.
• Manage third-party requests for information regarding CNO’s information security program and policies.
• Ensure appropriate technologies are utilized to comply with SOX, PCI, and HIPAA/HITECH regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of ten years of progressive IT experience.
• At least three years of experience as a security architect or in a related role.
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate with IT and business stakeholders and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Zero Trust security principles.
• Experience in designing access governance, certification, role management, and identity lifecycle management solutions.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Availability to work Central or Eastern Time hours.
• This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship.
• Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, or related security certifications.
• Preferred: Experience integrating SailPoint with Active Directory/Azure AD (Entra ID), LDAP directories, ServiceNow, cloud platforms, and SaaS applications.
• Preferred: Comprehensive understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA/HITECH standards.
